Tortoreto Baby Friendly - Residence Helene

TORTORETO BABY FRIENDLY is a project conceived by the Tortoreto Hoteliers Association to celebrate the natural vocation of the city, ideal place for the stay of the families with children, awarded by a team of specialists with the Pediatric Green Flag (which identifies the best Italian beaches suitable for children) and certified by the Blue Flag of Europe for twenty years.

The structures that participate in the project are united by the desire to provide better services to young guests on holiday, to ensure their well-being and fun on the beach with safe spaces and suitable equipment for the tranquility and relaxation also of dad and mother.

For 2017, the accommodation facilities include:
-sun bed with banks for children up to 2 years;
-food for children under 2 years old for those who have catering;
-high chairs at the restaurant for those who have catering;
-district in public services;
-playground games in accommodation facilities and/or on the beach;
-bicycles with child seat for children.

Our mascot Marina, the nice little mermaid landed in Tortoreto a long time ago, is the fantastic character designed to entertain small during their stay with music, choreography, gadgets and colorful graphics around the city.

THE STORY OF MARINA, THE SIRENET OF CHILDREN

Not long ago, on a warm summer evening lit by the full moon, a sweet little mermaid named Marina played among the waves of our sea with shells and curious crabs that were amusing to tickle their tails.

While joking happily with an octopus, she was attracted by the lights of the coast and the laughter of some children who played, danced and sang with their mothers and their fathers in the bathing establishments.
"How delightful and delightful they smell," Marina said while looking at a restaurant by the sea.
"I want to see what's happening over there," Marina said.

He approached the coast slowly and arrived on the beach. A child saw her and said surprised to his friends: "Look ... a little mermaid!" All the children went to Marina, happy and curious.
"But then there are sirens!" One of them exclaimed.
"Of course ..." Marina replied. "But not everyone can see us ... Only those who believe in the magic of dreams!"

Marina, amused by so much attention, then told her fantastic adventures with her little fish friends and the children told her all the beautiful things about their holiday in Tortoreto, games, walks, parties and music. Marina understood why the children were so happy and from that moment on she returned to Tortoreto as many times as she could.
Every night of the full moon - even today - Marina returns to find the children on holiday in our city.
